Rider error.
Most motorcycles have a kickstand failsafe if the kickstand comes down, the engine cuts off if it's in gear. My riding buddy has had 3 different harley models & it's never happened to him, I ride a Victory Vegas 8ball & a kickstand fail has never happened. Although I've inadvertently tried to pull down a lamp post when I've forgotten that I chained my pride & joy to it. So i assume it was human error why he laid his rental baby down. I hope he didn't hurt himself too much.
Too much bike for you
Ha... auto terminator!
Hit some pot holes and jumped off ffs. Get a 125 first
Weekend warriors in their HD costumes!😂😂😂
😂 I can’t stop laughing at the look on the old guys face (hi vis guy) as he’s telling his story. Not even halfway through the bs and he heard enough and went to check on the bike.
All he did was mess up counter steering. Not sure if he realized it or not.
that whould not make you crash. have you ever drive a bike or what?
@@pinguzoe You say that steering improperly would never make you crash?
I agree, it looked like he tried to turn the bars to the right to turn right but the countersteering made the bike lean to the left then fall over.
@@malachy9400 Yeah... that is what it looked like.
That's why Preston Harley went out of business 🤣🤣 At least you were ok though m8.
I had a bike that did this to me. It turned out to be a front brake that was partially engaged. Not completely, just to some extent. So when I was going straight I had enough traction to overcome the brake resistance to keep the wheel turning. When I leaned over a bit on a curve that wasn't perfectly clean the drag on the front wheel was significant enough that it stopped turning and I went down. Plus new tires don't have great grip which probably added to the problem.
them "u cant park there beeps" tho
Thought you had a bunch of farm animals grazing on the streets of Rochdale. The reality is far more disturbing.
Party time 🎉
when you buy a new bike. Strong suggestion to change a better tire.
I get a kick out of those tiny little "tea pot" gas cans of you will😂. We use something that size for oil changes over here in the US.
Didn't use his hips
Harley’s are sooooo sh*t
So is your brain
My guess you hit that dip on the road and panicked, or you were distracted doing something on your bike before you went down.
Probably should have learned the basics before buying a bike. If you crashed that easily you probably won’t make it as a rider.
It’s ridiculous how many fools who can’t ride go and buy a big bike first up. Everyone should learn to ride dirt bikes first. It should be mandatory for anyone getting a motorcycle license …
You have to do THREE tests in the UK to ride a bike like this. A theory test, a module 1 test (off road around cones), and a module 2 test on the road with an examiner following.
I feel your pain. Dropped my brand new bike just last week. Was making a right turn at a stop sign and accelerated too quick like a complete idiot on brand new, cold tires just after getting off work. Bike will likely be in the shop for the next couple months until KTM can come up with the replacement parts. Stay safe!
What that just a slip on for the day ? Noise level on decat bike would be loud
❤😊
Human error, can’t blame any pothole or side stand 😅 - We learn from our mistakes
Do it on my own
I have one-a 2020 and it is really great. I really enjoy driving it. I agree with much of what you said. I have not tried the launch thingy. Maybe if it gets warm again soon-but I like to just hit the throttle off the line. Well, thanks.
I rode this beast moto guzi once and unless i did hard counter-steer the whole time it wud try and put me in the bush
i think racism caused the crash
Is it wrong of me to laugh when he wrecked?
No.
Human error, nothing to be ashamed of.
I'm buying one next month. I cannot wait after hearing so many good things about it
Who are the fire breathers please dude?
Too much Front brake he is slowing at a rapid decent 45 to 20 in 2.5 seconds. confused the front brake with the clutch
no, it was racism that caused the crash... then the asphalt hate speeched the paint all to hell
Just had my Africa Twin 1100 stolen. Smashed the steering lock off as I found it on my drive. Wonder if the started my bike like yours was. Day light aswell 4 o'clock
It got slightly unsettled (front striction or rear wheel alignment maybe slightly off) it felt weird because of the fat bobs silly wide front tyre, and then you target fixated on the kerb because you were scared of not making the corner. If it doubt stare where you wanna go and throttle it out.
Crash is @03:40 ish.
Amazing,,,, Your results are remarkable. Which PP you used? and how do you deal with different light conditions when white balance comes in picture? Would you please provide litte info about the lenses did you use? and offcourse the post production software for color grading.
During the lockdown the elderly are the most important to look after also single parents and your neighbours.
Had my garage broken into while i worked a 12 hour shift, bike stolen, thousands in tools and gear stolen, thousands in damage done, had video of the thief and being a local i even knew his name and the block of flats he lived in but not which exact flat, police took days to turn up only to say "what do you expect us to do about it we don't have time to look for him" when i literally gave them everything they needed to find the prick and they also told me that he had warrants out already.. simply didn't give a shit. Yet they have plenty of time and resources to set up speed traps, pull us over 24/7 claiming we are speeding just because we have a loud engine and exhaust system, all the time in the world to do random stops and check our insurance etc and say "how do we know the bike isn't stolen", all the time in the world to hand out fixed penalty notices like fucking confetti, basically plenty of resources for things that make money but none for things which cost money... absolute disgrace.
You are making a mistake trying to understand the situation, the immoblizer was bypassed using a tool connected to obd 2 port , and that switch is just to ignite it
Bad roads? Noob rider!
Noob rider and crap bike … 😂
Just coz u can't afford one@@ma3stro681
I'm sorry, but that is some funny Sh*t right there. Awesome Wreck.
See that rut where his bike ended up. Possibly caught the front tire in there and felt like steering lock. Other than that see A) no reason.
Even if the steering locked, which it didn't, at that speed he could still turn by leaning. For whatever reason, he kept pushing the handlebars to the left, but he was going too fast to be able to turn the handlebars without crashing. You can see it in the video, he's actually turning the bars to the left, for some strange reason.
Don't have to worry about this with 4 wheels.
What happened to your bike vids mate? These are crackin
I ended up becoming a professional videographer/filmmaker 🤣
@Anthony Mercer Something I'd love to do. Hopefully the motovlogs come back!
Isnt that Saffy Sprocket?
Eeeeennglaaaaand! I don't even take my keys out of the ignition when I'm at the shops here in NZ!
I live 2 minutes away for this road and pass it daily on a harley, whilst the section is poor condition *like most road in Preston its no different to any others, with the exception that the turn faces a slight incline. Its a bizarre accident but would have helped if we could see the front brake hand in the video.
If only your country had lawyers?
Going too slow, tires too hard, too heavy.
